Day 79: Building the second floor framing!

Hard to believe how it seems some parts went so slow and now the framing is going so fast!

They delivered the lumber last week.

And then they framed the floor.

Next they installed the plumbing, insulation and floor. Once all that was set...BAM...they got the whole first floor framed yesterday.

And then WOW, we drove up today to this:

And YIKES!  It's huge :)

Demo is done!

Day 59. They have poured the cement and finished taking down the walls of the kitchen. Tomorrow they are supposed to start framing!

Double Duty! One day, the City was working in the front yard putting in new side walks and then in the back the guys were taking down the walls of the kitchen.

A few items Daisy and I liked in our shopping trips:

Dinner #5 that we have cooked at home in 59 days: steak, artichoke and corn on the cob. We actually set up a table so that we could eat together. To shop, cook and do dishes only took about 2.5 hours....sheeesh!  ;)
