Day 44! The inspector is supposed to come tomorrow to check the forms for the foundation before they pour the cement. Here is what the space is looking like these days.
Here is a look at one of the many floors that were laid under my blue
floor. I think this is the original floor from 1952. When we moved in
the backsplash was also yellow and brown. The guys ended up digging under the kitchen wall to be able to shore it up so that the second story can be built.
And then I have been doing a lot of shopping...still picking out things for the house like tubs, fixtures, floors, tiles, sinks, etc. Here are a few things that caught my eye!
Still working on getting a good running kitchen set up...but I have made 3 meals in the crockpot and done dishes once in my camp kitchen sink.
